In a bold move towards mainstream dominance, Ultraviolette Automotive, known for its high-performance electric motorcycles, has now set its sights on a wider audience. The brand recently pulled the wraps off two new EVs and teased an entire lineup of future products that signal a new chapter for the Bengaluru-based startup.
⚡ Big Launches at Fast Forward India
At Fast Forward India event held in Bengaluru on March 5, 2025, Ultraviolette introduced two new electric two-wheelers:
- Tesseract electric scooter – Priced at ₹1.2 lakh (ex-showroom), with a special offer for the first 10,000 buyers.
- Shockwave electric enduro bike – Launch price ₹1.5 lakh (ex-showroom), limited to the first 1,000 buyers.
With these launches, the company steps into the mass-market territory, backed by cutting-edge design, premium features, and performance-focused engineering. The goal? To replicate the community-driven success it saw with the F77 motorcycle series.

Growing Presence Across India
Ultraviolette is now accelerating its retail expansion with 13 cities already covered via their signature Space Stations (experience showrooms) and Space Pods (test ride touchpoints). This physical presence is expected to boost accessibility and brand visibility.
The ‘Flight Plan’ for the Future
Alongside the product launches, Ultraviolette unveiled its long-term product roadmap, called the Flight Plan. The lineup is divided into five distinct series:
- F Series – High-performance electric bikes
- S Series – Electric scooters
- L Series – Lightweight electric bikes
- X Series – To be revealed
- B Series – To be revealed

Each series (except B Series) will include three vehicles, while B Series will have two. The current lineup includes:
- F77 Mach 2 & F77 SuperStreet (F Series)
- Tesseract (S Series)
- Shockwave (L Series)
The X and B series remain shrouded in mystery for now, but expectations are high.
Aiming Big in Competitive Market
With EV scooter penetration in India hovering around 14%, especially in the sub-₹1.5 lakh price range, Ultraviolette’s Tesseract is poised to make a significant impact. It offers top-tier features and tech, potentially unmatched globally in its segment. The introductory offer hints that the brand is eyeing high volumes.

Industry-Wide Shake-Up
As Ultraviolette makes its scooter debut, Ola Electric is preparing to disrupt the motorcycle segment with the Roadster Pro—a bike promising better numbers than the Ultraviolette F77, and at half the cost. Clearly, the Indian EV space is heating up, and now is the perfect moment for bold moves.
